We invested in this farm in 2015. Since then, we have sold more than 10 thousand tons of rice to the local market and have exported more than 40 thousand tons to other foreign countries. The sustainability and sucess of our business was easily assured by many factors, with emphasis to the favorable tropical climate for such culture.

Since November 2022, the beginning of our commercial activities, we have processed and sold approximately 220 tons of meat (bovine, swine, ovine and caprine), with the forecast of including a new processing line for poultry and its derivatives.
Since September 2023, our company has a production of 5 tons per day in one shift, and we expect to close the year with the production of 500 tons of meat in general with a forecast of double increase in production capacity for the year 2024.
We prioritise the acquisition of national raw materials, and so far 100% of our production is of national origin, as well as sales to the national market, as we believe in a growing economy in Angola.

Centrooptico opened its first clinic in 2014 in the province of Luanda. After nine years, Centrooptico is the leader in optics in the Angolan market, with 26 clinics and more than 400 employees spread over eight provinces.
Angola is a country of opportunities and a land with abundant wealth, not only of natural resources, but mainly of human resources, with a young population looking for opportunities.
The investment made in Angola proved to be the right one, with the company managing to accumulate high levels of growth, even in the face of less favorable economic periods at a global level.
Centrooptico's expansion project aims to democratise access to eye care for the Angolan population and, to this end, we plan to reach all 18 provinces of Angola.
Amyn Habib
Executive Director of Centrooptico Angola
Investing in Angola, despite the risk of economies in our state of development, is fortunately a safe value, because the country has made an effort to fulfil its responsibilities and objectives, with a view to diversifying the economy and achieving food self-sufficiency, and not only. And it has a very positive benchmark and solid references, for example, in the oil industry.
In our activity, we also have a privileged location, a relevant geostrategic position, a market with demand, and already some qualified local labor, which is quite positive and another clear sign of development. Unfortunately, we do not have local raw materials, so imports are a daily challenge. But we believe that, with the diversification of the economy, Angola can produce raw materials in significant quantities, which we can include in our value chain.
