Artisanal Fishing Support Centre of Ngolome

This centre is dedicated to the training and larviculture of tilapia. The road and solar panels were built/assembled in 2020; and the road leading to the centre is in a good state of repair. The solar panels supply energy to the centre and are being created conditions to extend this energy also to the community. The IPA – Instituto de Desenvolvimento da Pesca Artesanal e da Aquicultura (Artisanal Fisheries and Aquaculture Development Institute), together with the management of the centre, have coordinated the maintenance and repairs of the solar panels.

Artisanal Fishing Support Centre of Casai

The centre was built in 2006 and is currently not functioning. The infrastructure needs rehabilitation.The lack of access to water is a problem for the centre and the community.
Inside the centre, there are some tarimbas, but there are no means or equipment (generator, conservation chamber, ice machine, chairs, tables, etc.).

Limestone factory in Sumbe

This facility is located in the Sumbe Irrigated Perimeter, in the province of Cuanza-Sul.
The Sumbe Irrigated Perimeter is an integrated development project that involved the construction of two pumping stations and three reservoirs; the laying of 200 kilometers of piping for the irrigation system for the deforestation of 1.509 hectares; the implementation of an electrical substation with a capacity of 6,6 KV; a maintenance workshop; the construction of warehouses; and the construction of a rural village with the projection of 250 houses (with 85 agricultural social housing already concluded). The area has roads to the perimeter, which is located 100 meters from the EN 100.
